Peak Tide was founded by Megan McGee, an entrepreneur seeking to acquire a business that she can devote her career to leading and scaling long-term.

Megan's entrepreneurial drive was sparked around a dinner table education, where she learned from her dad's experiences building family businesses. This led Megan to launch several small businesses, most notably including an e-commerce business that she founded as a college student and expanded over five years. Subsequently, Megan led a successful turnaround for a regional pest control branch then transitioned to a Director for a marketing agency serving Fortune 500 clients. Throughout her career, she worked directly with CEOs to scale companies, using a people-first leadership approach that translates across industries.

Megan earned a BS in Business Administration with degrees in Entrepreneurship and Economics from Florida State University and a MBA from University of Virginia's Darden School of Business, where she was a Batten Entrepreneurial Scholar and Student Body President.

The name Peak Tide was born from a love for outdoor adventure, from the ocean to the mountains. Boating, free diving, surfing, and skiing teach Megan to have a bias toward action and operate in the present, which she plans to carry out as a CEO.
